CrimVault is an educational mobile application for criminology licensure review. The current Android-first release focuses on CLE theory lessons, practice questions, mock exams, flashcards, weakness tracking, and progress analytics.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is stored, how it is used, and what third-party services may process information.
CrimVault is designed as an offline-first review app. We do not operate an account server for study activity, exam scores, or progress records.
CrimVault does not collect, transmit, sell, or share study progress, exam answers, mock exam scores, flashcard activity, or weakness tracking data to our own servers.
Most app data stays on your device, including:
CrimVault does not require account registration in the current Android-first release.
Study progress is stored only on your device. No PINs, passwords, or account credentials are required by this release. We do not use Google, Facebook, or other third-party sign-in providers.
Because this data is local, anyone with access to your unlocked device may be able to view your study progress. Please protect your device with a passcode, biometrics, or another device-level lock.
The current Android-first release does not require photo, camera, contacts, microphone, location, Bluetooth, or file storage permissions for its core study features.
If the app uses internet access, it is used only for user-initiated external links such as privacy policy or support pages. Core study features are designed to work offline.
The current Android-first release does not sell digital goods or unlock premium content through payment.
Some future improvements may be shown as a feature preview, but no paid digital content is sold, unlocked, or simulated in the current release.
If paid digital content is enabled in a future release, purchases must use the official platform billing system and this policy will be updated before release.
CrimVault may open external links, such as this Privacy Policy page or support pages, in your browser or another app. When you open an external link, the destination website or app may receive information such as your IP address, browser/device information, or referrer data according to its own policies.
We do not sell your study data, exam results, or local progress records.
We do not share local app data with advertisers or data brokers.
The current release does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or crash reporting SDKs that send study activity to third-party services.
Limited information may be processed by third-party platform providers only when needed for app distribution, operating-system services, or external links you choose to open.
CrimVault stores app data locally on your device using local storage.
Data remains on your device until you reset progress, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
Some operating systems or device backup services may back up app data depending on your device settings. Those backups are controlled by your operating system or account provider, not by CrimVault.

CrimVault is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If a parent or guardian believes a child has used the app and wants local data removed, they can clear app data or uninstall the app from the device.
CrimVault is for educational and review purposes only.
CrimVault is not affiliated with PRC, CHED, NAPOLCOM, CSC, BFP, BJMP, PNP, or any government agency. It is not an official examination provider. It does not guarantee exam results.
